Praise for this book
This one’s for readers who love fast paced urban fantasy with a clever twist. Kitsune mythology, Strigoi drama, and ghost hauntings wrapped in wit, attitude, and emotional grit. Tai Jotun is a lead worth following into any kind of chaos, and the supporting cast? Chef’s kiss. It never drags, never dulls. Just the kind of ride you cancel plans for.
This book was a lot of fun! It pulled me in right away with all the ghosts, Tai’s wild grandma and her Strigoi powers. I kept thinking, man, she’s got it rough! I laughed out loud more than once, especially with her cousin’s ghost causing mischief and the hilarious scenes during summer school.
It was such a ride following Tai, running alongside Nico and Magoo through total supernatural chaos. The story moves fast full of creepy undead moments, a touch of heartbreak, and plenty of twists to keep things exciting. It bounces around a bit at times, but overall, it’s a quick, engaging read with ghosts, action, and a whole lot of heart.
Please, Please, write more adventures of Tai and how she does in her new home of New Orleans! Great story and the character's! are fabulous. Recommend you set aside the time to binge read, because this is a unique and fabulous story of magic!
